Are you ready? Let's begin!

Here’s the PDF printable for the pattern

What you need:
 -Scrap pieces of  felt
-Embroidery thread for the nose and mouth
- Stuffing (cotton or polyester)
 -Embroidery needle, scissors and pins
 -Linen fabric
 -An embroidery hoop
-Green and pink color cotton thread and a crochet hook
 -Florist wire

Start by downloading the pattern and printing it to your desired size. This pattern will serve as your guide throughout the project.  Transfer the embroidery design onto the linen fabric and secure it in an embroidery hoop.

Begin by cutting out the felt pieces in various colors. You can add an extra touch of creativity by coloring the felt before embroidering it.

This will give your teddy bear and roses a sense of depth and dimension.  Arrange the felt pieces on the hoop to determine the perfect placement and layering order.

Embroider the eyes using satin stitches and follow the provided images to create a sweet expression on the teddy bear's face. Cut a piece of felt in the shape of the nose and attach it securely.

Once you're satisfied with the arrangement, start appliqueing the felt pieces onto the background fabric
Use small pins to hold everything in place as you sew.
Stitch the feet and ears first, and then move on to sewing the body.

Use a whip stitch and matching thread to secure the felt pieces to the fabric.

Lightly stuff the teddy bear's body with cotton or polyester filling, ensuring it feels cuddly and soft.

Once filled, sew the opening closed with a whip stitch..

Once you've filled the teddy bear's head with fiberfill and closed the opening, it's time to add a special touch that will make it even more adorable.
Using a black thread, create stitches that pull the eyes slightly inward.
This technique gives the teddy bear a chubby and cute appearance, adding to its overall charm and making it irresistibly lovable.

Now it's time to add the beautiful bouquet of crochet roses. Embroider the edges of the felt bouquet pieces using colorful embroidery floss, using a basic blanket stitch.

Sew the bouquet in place with a line of whip stitch using brown sewing thread.

Create delicate crochet roses and leaves using green and pink cotton thread and a crochet hook. Experiment with different sizes and colors to bring your bouquet to life.

Since I'm not particularly skilled in crochet, I enlisted the help of my sister for this project.
She worked her magic and created the most adorable crocheted tiny roses and leaves for me.
But don't worry if crochet isn't your cup of tea or if you simply prefer the design and want to try it using embroidery.
You can achieve equally beautiful and dimensional roses using the cast-on stitch technique.
My sister used just one ply of knitting yarn instead of regular crochet threads to make these pieces.
This choice gave the roses a unique and charming texture, adding to their overall appeal.
The delicate petals and leaves she crafted with this technique truly brought the bouquet to life.

After creating the crocheted roses, it's time to attach them to the felt base. Take your needle and thread, and secure each rose to the felt with small stitches.

Be sure to arrange them in a way that looks pleasing to you, allowing them to cascade gracefully from the teddy bear's paw. This will give the bouquet a charming and whimsical appearance.

Once you have attached the crocheted roses to the felt base, it's time to add the leaves to create a more realistic and natural look. Here's how you can sew the leaves to the bouquet:  making sure they are proportional to the size of your roses.  Position the leaves around the roses, spreading them out evenly and placing them where they would naturally occur in a bouquet.
This will give the arrangement a more organic and lifelike appearance.  Thread your needle with matching green thread and knot the end.  To attach each leaf, use a blind stitch

To create the stems for the roses, follow these steps:
Cut a piece of wire measuring 2-3 cm in length. This will serve as the stem of your rose.
Take the green crochet thread and start wrapping it around the entire length of the wire.
Ensure that the thread is tightly wound and covers the wire completely.
To secure the thread in place, apply a small amount of PVA glue or craft glue along the length of the wrapped wire.
This will prevent the thread from unraveling and provide additional strength to the stem.  Next, using the same green thread, crochet the base of each flower bud.
Create a loop with the thread, insert your crochet hook, and make a chain of a few stitches to form the base.  Attach each flower bud to the stem by stitching it at the base. Use a needle and thread that matches the color of the rose and make a few stitches to secure the bud to the stem. Ensure that it is firmly attached and doesn't come loose.
To attach the stem to the rose, apply some white glue to the yarn-covered wire. Insert the stem into the calyx (the base of the rose where the petals meet) and hold it in place for a minute or until the glue dries. This will ensure that the stem is securely attached to the rose.

"thinking of you always"

Now it's time to add a heartfelt message to your project using the whipped backstitch. Thread your needle with embroidery floss in a color that complements your design. Begin stitching your chosen words, following the curves and shapes of the letters.
The whipped backstitch creates a slightly raised effect, giving your message a more personal and eye-catching touch. Take your time and enjoy the process of adding this heartfelt detail.

To create a Whipped Back Stitch:  Start by stitching a backstitch along your design line, keeping the stitches even.  O
nce the backstitch line is complete, bring the needle up through the fabric at the starting point.
Thread the needle under each backstitch, creating a loop around the stitch in a clockwise direction.  Pull the thread gently to tighten the loop around each backstitch.
Repeat this process for all the backstitches along the line.
Continue whipping the embroidery thread around each backstitch, following the shape of your design.  Secure the thread with a knot on the back of the fabric or by weaving it through nearby stitches.  The Whipped Back Stitch adds texture and dimension to your embroidery, creating a raised effect and enhancing the visual appeal of your design.
To complete the arrangement, place the roses on the background fabric in a thoughtful manner. Consider placing taller roses to the right of the bouquet and shorter ones in the front, creating a visually appealing composition. Sew each rose securely to the fabric, using small stitches that blend seamlessly with the design. Intertwine rose leaves among the roses to add a natural and beautiful touch. This careful arrangement will bring your bouquet to life and create a stunning centerpiece for your teddy bear.

I couldn't bear to leave behind the 4-5 crocheted roses with wire stems that I made as extra pieces for the teddy bear's bouquet. I wanted to incorporate them into my design.
I decided to place them next to the teddy bear's feet, creating a scattered bouquet effect among the embroidered words. I think it adds a lovely touch to the overall look.

I added a pink ribbon bow made of satin to the bouquet Teddy is holding, giving it a final touch. To make my design more lively, I also included two butterfly buttons.
