Ribbon embroidery & Three-dimensional embroidery design with garden-themed embellishments for your hand embroidery projects.
This set of sweet little things will effortlessly add dimension and beauty to your needlework projects.
Handmade from start to finish and one of a kind.
The birdhouse and wooden fence have tiny holes that you can sew them onto your embroidery project with thread and a needle..
Using an array of threads, ribbons, and textured yarns, along with whimsical garden-themed buttons,
I created a lively embroidered garden.
This design is perfect for those who enjoy the art of ribbon embroidery, as you'll find that a few simple techniques can achieve remarkable results.
I began my garden design with the cheerful embroidery of a blossoming tree, setting the stage for a magical stitching journey.
I began embroidering the lines along the tree design using the stem stitch technique.
With precision and care, I meticulously worked on each branch, bringing them to life with beautifully defined lines.
Once all the branches were completed, I moved on to the trunk of the tree.
For the trunk, I used the stem stitch technique as a filling stitch. Working row by row, I filled the area with parallel lines, creating a solid and textured appearance for the tree trunk.
I planned to create a wisteria flower on the opposite side of my tree, ensuring balance in the composition. It's time to bring the wisteria to life.
I started by embroidering the brown branches and then the green branches using the stem stitch technique.
The stem stitch allowed me to create smooth and flowing lines, capturing the elegant and cascading nature of the wisteria branches.
As I continued embroidering along the wisteria branches, I added numerous picot stitch leaves.
I must admit, I had a moment of hesitation when I realized the sheer number of tiny leaves I had to create.
It was quite a challenge, but in the end, the result was truly worth it.
The picot stitch leaves brought a sense of life and movement to the wisteria branches.
They created a delicate and organic look, resembling the actual leaves of the wisteria plant.
I carefully embroidered the clusters of wisteria flowers using a purple silk ribbon in both light and dark tones, using the ribbon stitch technique.
The silk ribbon added a soft and lustrous touch to the cluster flowers, enhancing their elegance and allure.
By the way, I'm going back to the tree that I only embroidered the branches of.
Now, I'm starting to add spring flowers to my tree. Using white ribbon, I'm embroidering numerous flowers on the branches of the tree, where each French knot will represent a flower.
I'm completing the tree part by embroidering tiny leaves with the lazy daisy stitch, using the simplest stitches possible.
The vibrant purple wisteria flowers have found their beautiful abode in a flower pot.
With the help of small holes specifically designed for stitching, I skillfully sewed the pot onto the background fabric, just like sewing a button.
This technique not only added depth and dimension to my embroidery design but also saved me the trouble of individually embroidering the intricate details of the pot.
As a result, I have achieved a visually pleasing composition that showcases the lively cluster of flowers in their natural setting.
After sewing the wooden fence and birdhouse onto the background fabric like buttons, I proceed to fill my garden with an array of colorful spring flowers.
And here comes the most eye-catching flower of all, the irises.
Using simple ribbon embroidery stitches, I carefully embroidered the irises next to the fence. To add more variety to the garden, as you can see, I created irises in shades of lilac and yellow.
This created a beautiful color diversity throughout the garden, making it a vibrant and inviting space.
Here are the other flowers I embroidered in my garden. Colorful flowers created with simple French knots or ribbon stitches.
Daisies with yellow and white picot stitch petals...
I weave leaves with various shades of green using picot stitch in random placements. I sew small stone-like buttons, resembling pebbles, among the clusters of flowers. It gives my garden a realistic feel, and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
I enhanced the design by creating a vine plant with picot stitch leaves. The vine gracefully climbed up from the fence, wrapping around the handle of the birdhouse.

Finally, I completed my garden by stitching two adorable birds onto the background fabric. Birds are an essential part of any garden, aren't they?
I can almost hear their cheerful chirping. I placed one on the fence and the other on a tree branch.
